The Centers act as hubs for coordinating the digital portfolio of Germany’s development cooperation in numerous partner countries and help to promote a just digital transformation at the local level.

The Digital Transformation Centers worldwide exchange knowledge and experience and adapt flexibly to the local requirements, depending on how advanced the digitalisation process is in the country in question. So far, more than two million people have received support via these Centers globally.
