Cooperation in action Teaching children about digital technologies: GenerationDigital!

    Digital skills are increasingly important to ensure that children and young people have good employment prospects when they come to enter the working world. These skills are essential for social, political and economic participation, future-proof jobs and the ability to engage critically with modern media.

    On behalf of the BMZ, the GenerationDigital! project (External link) supports African partners in 33 countries in their efforts to increase digital literacy among children and young people. African ministries and civil society organisations can apply for funding via GenerationDigital! for projects that equip children and young people to engage with the digital world.
