Our partners Working together with international organisations

    Germany is an active member of many international organisations. The Federal Republic not only supports these organisations financially, but also actively participates in their decision-making, the development of their strategies, the design of their programmes and the implementation of their goals.

    Germany is intensively involved in the United Nations and its organisations, funds and programmes. The Federal Republic is represented in the supervisory and decision-making bodies of financing institutions such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and various regional banks. Germany also supports international non-governmental organisations.
