The digital transformation and development cooperation The [digital.global] network

    Germany’s global development policy work relies on strong partnerships and ongoing dialogue. To promote this, the BMZ launched [digital.global], a network for digital transformation, in December 2022.

    The network serves as a platform for all actors from the spheres of politics, business, civil society and academia who are working to promote a socially and environmentally responsible, feminist digital transformation.

    Knowledge-sharing in the network’s focus areas is fostered through a variety of dialogue and discussion formats. The BMZ brings decision-makers from politics, civil society, academia and the business world together and holds regular specialised workshops and information and networking events. The website www.bmz-digital.global/en provides comprehensive information on German development cooperation projects in the area of digital policy.
